Character Spotlight
Meet The Characters:
Enter the world, the world of the future. The human population is only a fraction of what it had been just 100 years prior. We still hold dominion over this planet, but we share control with another organism, one that defies scientific classification. This organism destroyed most of the human population on Earth in a plague with no historical equal. The survivors of this plague learned how to harness the power of this organism, giving them superpowers before unheard of. People had always envisioned that money would become useless in a post-apocalyptic world; that food and fresh water would become all important. But, as it turns out, money was the only thing humans really understood. And it was the corporations that ended up with most of it when the world was infested. It was the corporations that abolished any kind of federal control over its citizens by creating small fiefdoms. It is the corporations...that own you. Main metropolitan areas became city-states in their own right. The corporations ended up controlling everything, they became the law, a fully-charged government unto their own. And the Agencies, centers of training for the most powerful humans on Earth, are there to help, hinder, destroy, betray, and exploit those corporations for their own agenda. It is a dangerous game, and this is their story. |
