Gretchen grew up in Connecticut, in a quiet middle class family. She was encouraged at a young age to try modeling for juniors. Those engagements were fun, and she quickly built a reputation for reliability and exceeding the expectations of professional photographers. When she turned 17, she decided to pursue a professional career in modeling in earnest. She immediately rose to fame for her classic beautiful look and runway walk. She became a household name by the time she was 21, and married the lead singer for the band "Screaming Syphilis" when she was 22. That roller coaster marriage ended painfully, and since that time, Gretchen has tried to stay out of the limelight for anything outside her modeling work. That has proven difficult for her since everyone is speculating which guy she's been dating since her infamous divorce. Little do they know, Gretchen has not been seeing any guys at all, but rather Yelena, another model she met on a shoot some months ago.
