We write these scripts to give them a mainstream flavor.  I don't like reading a book or watching a movie when there's no depth or feeling to any of the characters.  The same goes for comics.

Comic publishers are, by nature, at a disadvantage because the characters do not exist.  They're merely cartoons.  So it is the writer's job to make sure each character comes to life, and takes on a meaningful role within the books.

So it's a delicate balance we're trying to strike here.  The balance between presenting a good story, and making sure the tickling action is good enough to please our customers.

That being said, the tickling rating is very easy to derive.  We simply count the panels in the book that feature tickling, and divide this number by the TOTAL panels in the book.
