Biography:
Her family made a deal with the Dark Prince of Lies. They received a taste of his power, in exchange for their eternal servitude. What they weren't told was the Dark One made another deal with a group of men called the Witch Hunters who were promised rewards of their own if they totally eliminated the family. Yelena is the only sole survivor of her family, and has laid in exile for over 100 years from the Witch Hunters, who constantly hunt her to finish their bargain. Yelena is currently residing within the United States, and has taken to a comfortable life modeling, acting, and practicing her magic whenever possible. She came across Gretchen during one of her shoots, and the two immediately hit it off. They have been secret lovers for a couple months when the events of issue one take place.
